Muddy Water is one of the many translations of Minnesota / mnisota from Dakota into English. Cross-country runners compete over all types of terrain.

Muddy water is one of the many obstacles that harriers encounter.

Our conference includes public charter and private middle schools from in and around the Twin Cities metropolitan area. 4th through 8th graders compete at our meets.

4th - 6th graders race over a 1-mile course, and the 7th & 8th graders compete over the same 1-mile course twice for a total of 2 miles. Each meet has a different course.
