AutoCAD

I was already familiar with AutoCAD before this course, but I still learned a lot. I learned how to transition between 2D and 3D modeling. As well as how to extrude drawings and make them into 3D pieces instead of 2D. AutoCAD allows me to create designs very easily and makes the transition from design to construction seamless. AutoCAD lets me and others easily create designs and share them, so it's very easy to share information. 

AutoCAD made me realize how complex building and part components can get. Doing AutoCAD repeatedly has strengthened my mindset for completing these sorts of assignments, and I have gotten much better at visualizing and drawing in AutoCAD. AutoCAD has helped me learn a lot more about construction and what goes into these projects before construction can even begin. It allows construction managers to easily coordinate job assignments between engineers, architects, electricians, and contractors. This allows construction professionals to create detailed, precise construction documents using AutoCAD. This streamlines the design process, reduces errors, and improves communication throughout the project. Adding these skills will help me in the construction field and will allow me to help as much as possible.
