The system can be accessed by selecting the EHS Assistant (under Facilities Services) on MyGS Portal.
Once logged into the system, generation of the waste request can be done by selecting Waste Pickup Request/Satellite Accumulation.
*Note: Students must have a student worker email address to access the system.
Pages 27-32 details how to create a chemical waste submission in the EHS system. Below this initial document is the protocol for submission to the Waste Closet collection site.
Be sure to print off and attach a waste manifest to the container before submission to the Waste Closet. instructions can be found at the end of the protocol document.
This is needed to place chemical waste in the Waste Closet collection site (SC 2113 - inside the Stock Room 2115).
