Sense-ational Plant Exploration
Young learners discover the wonderful world of plants using all five senses as they explore leaves, scents, textures, and sounds of the garden. (1 hour)
The Living Garden Adventure
Students identify living and non-living things, meet earthworms, describe leaves, use a magnifying lens to view gemstones up close, and discover the kinds of plants growing in the garden. (1.5 hours)
From Seed to Fruit: A Garden Plant Quest
Through hands-on investigations, students uncover how plants grow, what they need to survive, and how roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds work together. They'll explore plant parts through a leaf hunt, magnifying glass, and scavenger hunt. (2 hours)
Plants in Action: Exploring Nature's Connections
Students become scientific detectives as they solve mysteries of plant life cycles, pollination, seed dispersal, tree growth, erosion, and invasive species. (2 hours)
Georgia's Ecosystem Expedition
Journey across Georgia's five geographic regions while investigating habitats, plant and animal adaptations, composting, and the impacts of pollution on our environment. (2.5 hours)
The Web of Life Adventure
Students learn environmental science topics through activities that demonstrate food webs, predator-prey relationships, habitat loss, competition for resources, and the water cycle. (2.5 hours)
Biodiversity Quest
Students work as biologists to classify plants and animals, use dichotomous keys, investigate cells and microorganisms, and explore the incredible diversity of living organisms. (2.5 hours)
