Purpose
The idea of the APDR (Automatic Package Distribution Robot) came when we looked at how we can online shopping is making a huge impact on our daily lives. Companies like amazon ship out about 1.6 million packages a day. An estimated total of 36 million packages are delivered within the United States every day and USPS, FedEx, and UPS make up over 90% of these. This demand means more labor, accidents, and possible mistakes. With the APDR we hope to alleviate some of the issues.

About the Project
The Autonomous Package Distribution Robot is a project for the Georgia Southern University class Senior Capstone Design. In this class, it is expected for the students to get in groups and design, fabricate and test projects in a professional manner.
