Varsity Orchestra is also known as "Symphony" Orchestra. This is the highest level performing class in the middle school level and students can expect to play challenging and exciting music throughout the year.
In order to be successful all students must have the following materials and adhere to the following expectations.

Students will meet once a week as a section. Days and times will be posted after students get a chance to settle into school and we get to look at everyone's games and work schedules.

String Basics Book 3- Only the one corresponding to your instrument (optional)
Rhythm Basics- All students (optional)
(1) - 1.5 inch, 3 ring binder (black or white)
Binder dividers (5 tabs)
1- 3 ring pencil pouch

More details in the student handbook, which will be given in class.
Be respectful to all humans
Communicate as much as possible
Attend sectionals once a week before OR after school (day and time will be set after checking students game schedules and practices)
Attend all concerts and orchestra events (calendar will be given in the handbook)
Practice as much as you can
