When should I complete the FAFSA?
The FAFSA application opens Oct 1 each year. The priority deadline to complete is January 15 each year.
What form should I fill out?
Class of 2026: You will need to complete the 2026-27 FAFSA using 2024 tax information
Do I have to complete the FAFSA?
Completion of the 2026-27 Financial Aid Application (FAFSA) OR a completed opt-out form (below) is required for graduation in the state of Texas.
