Research Interests:
I work on syntactic theory, primarily drawing on data from my first language, Japanese. Here are some of the things that I have been working on:
A'-dependencies in Japanese relativization
Person-sensitive phenomenon involving the verb 'give' (ageru and kureru)
The nature of movement chains created by scrambling
