Wilhelm Clark

Will Clark is a Graduate Research Assistant in the Tercyak Lab. He joined in 2026 as a third-year medical student at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Will earned his B.S. in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University, where he first developed an interest in oncology while working as a medical scribe in an oncology clinic. Prior to medical school, he conducted qualitative research examining factors associated with increased suicide risk among autistic individuals and contributed to basic neuroscience research investigating the dopaminergic reward pathway in animal models.

At Georgetown, Will’s research interests focus on oncology, health disparities, and correctional health. His current work examines cancer mortality within the Federal Bureau of Prisons, with the goal of better understanding cancer outcomes among incarcerated populations. He is also involved in radiation oncology research at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center with Dr. Jonathan Lischalk. In addition to his research, Will is a member of the Health Justice Scholars track and serves on the Spanish Interpreter Committee for Hoya Clinic, reflecting his broader interest in improving access to care for underserved and justice-involved populations.
