Mary Rose Yockel

Mary Rose Yockel was the project director for the Tercyak Health Behavior and Cancer Prevention Lab from June '22 to May '24. She is a graduate of Brown University, receiving her BA with Honors in Psychology and International and Public Affairs in May of 2022.
Ms. Yockel has a strong interest in investigating parent-child relationships and family well-being. During her time at Georgetown, she managed multiple projects related to parent-child communication about hereditary and late-stage cancer. She is now an incoming student at The Catholic University of America's Clinical Psychology PhD Program. At CUA, Mary Rose will continue to study health psychology in the family context, working with pediatric oncology patients and their parents to promote quality of life and psychosocial wellbeing.
