Kevin Ezhakunnel is a Graduate Research Assistant in the Tercyak Lab. He joined in 2026 as a first-year medical student at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Kevin earned his B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida, where he developed a strong interest in oncology research, including projects examining metabolic and molecular features of cancer. After graduating, he worked as a postbaccalaureate research fellow at the National Cancer Institute in the Surgery Branch under Dr. Steven Rosenberg, where he contributed to the development and manufacturing of adoptive cell therapies for patients with metastatic solid tumors. His work focused on translational cancer immunotherapy and clinical research supporting patients enrolled in early-phase cell therapy trials. At Georgetown, Kevin is involved in the Hematology/Oncology Interest Group and community service initiatives, including student-run clinic programs that expand access to care for underserved populations in Washington, DC.
