Research Assistant
Heather is a Summer Undergraduate Research Assistant at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Statistics and Education, Inquiry, & Justice and will graduate in May 2024.
Heather has a strong interest in mental health and psychological wellbeing. Her work on the Interventions for Managing Parenting and Cancer Team (IMPACT) focuses on ways to support psychological wellbeing in children who have lost a parent to cancer. Heather is also writing an honors thesis in Psychology on the role of charismatic leadership as a moderating variable between psychopathy and antisocial behavior. In the future, Heather hopes to attend graduate school and pursue her PhD in social and personality psychology.
