Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center is hiring one full-time, experienced Program Manager and one full-time, entry-level Research Specialist in Spring of 2026--offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Program Manager Job Duties Include:
Oversee day-to-day operations of a cancer supportive care program.
Perform electronic health record review and patient navigation to cancer-focused resources.
Network for community outreach and engagement.
Program evaluation data management, analysis, and reporting.
Travel to and organize professional meetings.
Administratively support activities of the Director/Principal Investigator.
Research Specialist Job Duties Include:
Assist in behavioral and clinical public health studies and outreach programming.
Coordinate participant recruitment, screening, consent, and follow-up.
Conduct data collection, including surveys, interviews, and other assessments.
Manage research databases and maintain accurate, confidential records of data.
Contribute to data visualization, reporting, and the preparation of manuscripts and scholarly products.
Support training and mentorship of student research assistants.
For both positions, successful applicants will gain experience with applied, clinical, and community health and behavior projects focused on cancer control and prevention; contribute to research presentations and publications; collaborate with health professionals from multiple disciplines; enhance and build skills for career acceleration and/or advanced study in public health, medicine, or health psychology.
Job Requirements: Program Manager: Bachelor’s degree (required) or Master’s degree (MPH or MS preferred) with prior experience in program management, clinical research, patient-reported outcomes evaluation and analysis; Research Specialist: Bachelor’s degree (required) with interest in and/or prior experience with clinical research, patient-reported outcomes, and data analysis. Two-year minimum commitment expected. Knowledge of and experience in working with IRBs; REDCap database and statistical software (SPSS); coursework in premedical, public health, and/or behavioral and social sciences.
