Elia Brodsky is the CEO and co-founder of Pine-Biotech. As a serial entrepreneur who founded three other companies, Elia gained operational experience in academia through extensive relationships with researchers and educators in the field of bioinformatics, data science and healthcare analytics. He championed the Pine Biotech team to be the grand-prize winner of the 2016 Pistoia Alliance President’s Startup challenge. Most recently, he is overseeing the expansion of the OmicsLogic Educational program and the development of new solutions for biomedical researchers in top US universities. Multi-omics integration is providing valuable insight into molecular subtypes of various diseases. The methodology behind integration, feature selection and interpretation of multi-omics data continues to evolve. In this workshop, we will demonstrate several examples of multi-omics integration in application to diagnosis and treatment selection. Key aspects of data processing, analysis using machine learning and unsupervised integration will be highlighted. Topics like reproducibility and validation will be then discussed.
