Dr. Geeta Upadhyay

Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences | Department of Pathology

Dr. Upadhyay received her award winning PhD in molecular endocrinology at SGPGI, Lucknow, India. Dr. Upadhyay received her postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School, National Cancer Institute and Georgetown University. Dr. Upadhyay is a tenure track Assistant professor at Department of Pathology, Uniformed Services University, Bethesda. Her research is funded by National Cancer Institute R01 grant and DOD grants. Her research is focused on biomarker discovery, drug development and drug resistance in breast cancer. Dr. Upadhyay has published high profile publication in PNAS, Genetics an Cancer Research. Dr. Upadhyay regularly participate in NIH and DOD study sections. Dr. Upadhyay lab offers mentorships to undergraduate and graduate students.
