Hi, I'm Pranjal

I'm a PhD Candidate in Economics from Georgetown University. My advisors are John Rust and Nathan Miller. My research interests lie in causal inference & experimentation, algorithmic pricing and auto-bidding, optimization and reinforcement learning. 

I will be graduating in 2026, and will be starting at Uber as a Scientist in the Pricing team in the Delivery Marketplace.

In Summer 2024, I interned as a PhD Data Scientist at Roblox where I worked on A/B testing, product analytics and measurement. In Summer 2025, I interned as a PhD Applied Scientist at Uber on the safety science team. 

Before my PhD, I worked at a Assistant Manager (Data Science) at American Express for 3 years where I worked on building marketing recommendation engines and graph embedding systems at scale.
