Hi, I'm Pranjal

I'm a final year PhD Candidate in Economics from Georgetown University. My advisors are John Rust and Nathan Miller. My research interests lie in causal machine learning, deep learning, algorithmic pricing and bidding, reinforcement learning, and optimization.

I will be graduating in 2026, and will be seeking Scientist and ML Engineering roles in US Tech Industry. 

In Summer 2024, I interned as a PhD Data Scientist at Roblox where I worked on A/B testing, product analytics and measurement. In Summer 2025, I interned as a PhD Applied Scientist at Uber on the safety science team. 

Before my PhD, I worked at a Data Scientist at American Express for 3 years where I worked on building marketing recommendation engines and graph embedding systems at scale.
