Kim is a seasoned professional, connector, and thought leader whose works ranges widely across areas of social justice. She is involved in a variety of initiatives aimed broadly at equitable, sustainable improvements in quality of life, especially for vulnerable populations. She is an accomplished program director with strong track record in advanced approaches in philanthropy.
For more than twenty years Kim served as the founding staff member and then Senior Program Officer in the Wells Fargo Regional Foundation, where she was responsible for leading $6 million in annual grants and investment decisions. Kim helped to create this corporate/private foundation (with a $100 million endowment) and focus it on economic and community development. With its board of directors, she helped to realize the foundation’s mission of improving the lives of children and families through revitalization of low-income communities across the Greater Philadelphia/New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania region.
In 2020, after more than thirty years in the corporate world, Kim established the Resources for Good consultancy to act as a Senior Institutional Development Consultant to premier nonprofits in the Delaware Valley. To increase client profiles and revenue, Kim applies her deep experience in both the business and philanthropic communities –– and her knowledge in bringing these two sectors together. As a long-time resident in the City of Philadelphia, Kim has served on multiple boards and committees, as chairperson and member, and these roles are a personal passion of hers.
Kim has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland in organizational psychology with a business minor.
