Jer’Mykeal McCoy is a Richmond business and civic leader with a heart for community and innovation. He is an experienced sales professional and awarding winner nonprofit leader. In 2021, the Richmond City Council appointed McCoy as the youngest member to the city’s Economic Development Authority Board of Directors. He is also the Eastern Region VP for the National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP).
Additionally, Jer’Mykeal served on the Advisory Council for the awarding winning Richmond 300 City-wide Master Plan, he is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Tennessee State University National Alumni Association, and The Life Church RVA. Born and raised in East Knoxville, Tennessee. Jer’Mykeal earned a B.S. with honors from Tennessee State University (a HBCU) and MPS from Georgetown University.
McCoy is a Class of 2021 graduate of the National Urban League's Emerging Leader Program and 2020 TSU Alumni 40U40 honoree. He has been featured in various publications, including the Washington Post, Richmond Free Press, NBC12, and ABC8.
