Typically situated outside the career center in a high-traffic area, adjacent to the student commons area
Generally held in the morning to mid-afternoon
Workshops
Share professional expertise or prepare students for case-style interviews or other career-related skills (on-campus or virtual)
Facilitate interaction and problem-solving in a collaborative environment
May take the form of student competitions, case workshops, hack-a-thon-style, or other group learning events
Can be scheduled any day of the week at alternative times depending on calendar availability

Self-service postings can be made viewable to both MBA students and alumni on MCV or Handshake
Post full-time or part-time positions, as well as summer internships
Elect to have candidates apply through the database or receive applications outside of the system

Informational, day-in-the-life events with a specific industry or functional focus, including marketing, healthcare, finance, consulting, entrepreneurship, operations, energy, and technology
Represent your organization as a key industry player and introduce students to new career paths and opportunities in their field
Co-organized by student organizations and industry practice leaders
Scheduled on Fridays during the fall academic semester when classes are not in session. May include both in-person and virtual components

Showcase your workplace culture by hosting a group of students on-site
Co-organized by student organizations and industry practice leaders
Typically held in mid-October or on Fridays throughout the academic year
Multi-School Information Sessions and Workshops
