Colton and Maddox met on a Georgetown backpacking trip before freshmen orientation. Since, they've sought out many outdoor adventures like trudging through freezing rain in Acadia National Park, snowshoeing in Sawtooth National Forest, and watching bears in Shenandoah National Park, but Alaska may be the greatest adventure yet!

Colton is a business student at Georgetown and a Guide for Georgetown’s Outdoor Education program, where he leads hiking trips for students. In his third grade class, each student tracked one musher through the Iditarod. Colton followed Jeff King, and ever since then, has always wanted to work for a dogsled team!
Maddox
Maddox
Maddox is a student of international politics at Georgetown where she studies two languages and rows for the lightweight women’s team. Ever since she interned at a sled dog lodge in high school, she has wanted to get back into mushing and this semester was the perfect opportunity to move to the dogsledding mecca, Alaska!
