GIIG is the first ESG-focused, public equity investment fund based at Georgetown University, proudly student-led and mission-driven. Rooted in the values of Jesuit education and global responsibility, we combine rigorous financial analysis with purposeful investing to drive change where it matters most.

Impact investing is an investment strategy that aims to generate specific, beneficial social or environmental effects in addition to financial gains. Impact Investing believes that sustainable business is not just important for the economy and the world, but that it is simply good investment practice. We believe that good governance, positive social impact, and attention to sustainability are hallmarks of a healthy company. At Georgetown Impact Investing Group (GIIG), we aim to teach Georgetown students the basics of personal investment, professional development, all while ensuring that we put our best foot forward every day in making a positive impact on the community and world around us.
