Angela is a Harvard and Oxford Leadership trained consultant and executive coach certified at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). Her passion is developing the next generation of leaders with cutting-edge solutions that transform leaders, teams, organizations, and industries. Her coaching spans three decades supporting leaders in the mastery of executive team and leadership competencies. She leads C-Suite discussions across business sectors and knows what executives require in “ready now, high potential” talent.
At Johnson and Johnson, Angela was the pioneer of J&J’s LeaderView Talent Management strategy used across all business sectors. She selected, trained, and managed executive coaching engagements for J&J’s Executive Women’s Leadership Program at Smith College and continues to coach in the J&J EMEA ASCEND PROGRAM for women.
Her coaching is rooted in leadership development where she developed mastery in psychometric assessments at the world class Center for Leadership Development (CCL). She has coached hundreds of leaders in CCL’s flagship Leadership Development Program (LDP) and Leadership Development and High Performing Teams Program (LDHPT), which she co- designed with faculty from the US Air Force Academy. Using proven, best practices from individual, team, and organizational certifications she has a profound lens to help leaders identify their blind spots and test their assumptions and create and inspire breakthroughs for clients.
Angela gained business experience as a C-suite executive in both corporate and not for profit sectors. A veteran of successful career changes including Chief Learning Officer, Chief Diversity Officer, and successful business owner. As CEO and Founder of Silver and Gold Enterprises, LLC - Angela’s legacy includes designing and leading DESTINATION MBA, authoring The Official Guide to GMAT, and The Official Guide to MBA Programs and Careers, designing the Duke Leadership Academy, and Coaching Engagements for 300 CEOs of Girl Scouts of the USA while managing the Edith Macy Leadership Center. She served as Nominator for the Bill and Melinda Gates Scholars.
Consulting across industries, Angela coached high potential executives on Wall Street in a yearlong process for Executive Men of Color - as part of an industry-wide Talent Management Program. Her coaching led to a robust global leadership pipeline strategy currently being used across the financial sector. As a TRANSITIONS ADVISER, Angela consults with newly appointed CEOs, senior level executives, and department managers. She especially enjoys coaching high potential leaders in transition and is certified in New Leader Assimilation strategy by Harvard author, Dr. Michael Watkins, author of The First 90 Days, Right from the Start and Master Your Next Move.
Angela serves on the Advisory Board of Oxford Leadership and Faculty for Oxford’s Self Managing Leadership Program. She received her PMD at Harvard Business School, holds an Executive MBA from the University of Southern California, a Master’s in Public Relations from Boston University and a BS in Public Policy from The American University. Her civic engagements include memberships on the Journey to Justice Movement, Duke Medicine Hospice Board of Governors, Duke Medicine Orchestra, Author: Journal of Coaching, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Life Cycle Celebrant, Officiant and Faculty Member of the Celebrant Foundation and Institute.
The very personal experience of learning how to negotiate race, class, and gender on many continents as student, faculty and coach explains her passion in organizational culture. She has conducted cultural audits in organizations aligning their values to vision and mission and unpacks discrimination of the marginalized with signature achievements in social justice reforms.
