The Diplomatic and Political Simulation (or DPS) Club seeks to provide Hoyas and other Education City University students the chance to engage in fun and memorable Diplomatic and Political Simulation Activities. This includes, but is not limited to, University Model UNs, Crisis Simulations, Model Parliament/Congress events. Not only that, the club seeks to connect students with prominent figures in the field of Politics and/or Diplomacy to help them learn more about the field and how it affects the world around us.
Help GUQ Students to improve their oratory and diplomatic skills in a practical environment.
Prepare Georgetown Students to the future real political conferences and debates - Enable Georgetown Students to apply learned skills
Diplomacy and Politics by providing them a chance to participate in various diplomatic and/or political scenario simulations
Organize events that seek to simulate diplomatic and/or political activities that are open to GU-Q and other Education City University Students to run and participate in.
Provide workshop and training that would help familiarize the participating students to the scenarios we are simulating
Host social events that would invite speakers coming from political and diplomatic backgrounds to enable participating students to get to know more about the thing they are participating at
