Kenyatta International Conference Centre - 6/4

On this day, we visited the top of Nairobi's KICC and saw the city's expansive neighborhoods. Our driver and new friend John answered more questions than you can imagine. From "What building is that?" to "Do Kenyans trust their news sources?" to "What are the most popular cell phones in Kenya?", John patiently explained aspects of Kenyan life. John shared the importance of religion in Kenya -- mostly Christian and Muslim, but also Hinduism, Sikhism, and others. Coming from a Jesuit school in an increasingly agnostic country, it was interesting to hear John's conviction that any belief was welcome...as long as someone believed in something. Considering religion and atheism while looking out over Nairobi, the KICC offered us our own little international conference.
