About Us

History

Founded in 2003 as "Vocal Fusion," Exit 8 is SUNY Geneseo's oldest all-gender a cappella group and currently has 17 members. Musical repertoire is focused on today's hits as well as pop standards.

Group Description

Exit 8 performs twice a semester in SUNY Geneseo's All-A Cappella concerts, at various local businesses and organizations, for charity events, and for special on- and off-campus events. Occasionally, Exit 8 collaborates with collegiate peers by performing together at invitationals. The group has also competed in the ICCA quarterfinals in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019.

Auditions

Exit 8 holds auditions at the beginning of every fall semester and as necessary at the beginning of spring semesters. Check back soon for updates on Fall 2019 auditions!
