• Segment 1 classes are held throughout the year.  Students must be at least 14 years, 8 months old to register for segment 1.  

• Classes are at least 3 weeks in length, 2 hours each class for 12 days (24 hours total).  Range drives and on-the-road drives will be determined before the 1st day of class (6 hours behind the wheel). 

• Classes are offered in March, May, July, September, and November in Montrose at Hill-McCloy High School.

• Classes are offered in April and October in Burton at Genesee Christian Middle/High School.

• Cost is $425 exact cash or Venmo $435 ($425 plus fees). Venmo:  @geneseedrivingschoolmi

• $100 cash deposit ($103 Venmo) with filled out contract is required to reserve a spot for a segment 1 class. The other $325 will be due on or before the 1st day of class.

• Segment 2 classes are normally offered in the same months mentioned above for Segment 1 classes.  

• Classes are only 3 days in length, 2 hours each day (6 hours total).  

• Students must have held their Level 1 license (permit) for at least 3 months, as well as 30 out of the 50 hours of driving with a parent, before becoming eligible for segment 2.
