Week Nine - October 28th 2021
Dear Primary School Parents,
As we close out October, we can already reflect on some great memories from this academic year. The easing of restrictions has brought about many opportunities that we have been grateful for. The learning opportunities have really opened up and small events for the students have started to take place. Although large events and assemblies are still taking place on -line we feel positive about the opportunities that are still to come in this academic year.
Our student council has put on a spooktacular dress up event today with costume parades, games and dances. A big focus this year in on service and we thank all parents for the donations to Al Jalila Foundation .
ECA's have been off to a great start and it is wonderful to have the co-curricular activities back. The new school timings this week have also led to fewer traffic delays and pick up new timings. Thank-you to all the parents taking time to reach out and share feedback.
It is hard to believe that we are ready to kick of November early next week! We turn our focus to healthy bodies and healthy minds for the next 30 days with Dubai 30x30 and the PYP sports week. Students grade 2 and up are invited to school for fitness sessions starting at 7:30am. More information can be found on the whole school site Due to KHDA protocols we are not yet permitted to invite parents to take part.

A student has tested positive for Covid-19 or has been identified as a close contact of someone with Covid-19. In this case, the student must have the appropriate certificate from Dubai Health Authority.
