Inclusion

The Peer Mentor Program has resumed this week. Ms. Grace and Mr. Joe (Secondary Inclusion Support Teachers) have been working hard training the grade 10s who have volunteered to support students in grades 6-8 with their reading and math skills.  Mentor sessions occur twice weekly during lunchtime. It is great to see our students supporting one another in a positive way.

This week in Tareeqi, the students have been using their lunch time engaged in an Upcycling Project in preparation for Ramadan. They were very secretive about the project but we look forward to hearing and seeing more about it as Ramadan approaches. 

As a team we endeavour to ensure that our students and families receive the best support possible, both in school and out. Our 'Recommended Reading' section is also updated regularly with books targeting many diverse areas, that may help parents and students for a variety of reasons.
