Eid Mubarak

On behalf of the Islamic Department, we would like to extend the warmest wishes for a happy Eid Mubarak. May this Eid bring all the comfort, you have ever wanted and all the joy and laughter you have ever prayed for.

We may still be in lockdown due to COVID-19 but that doesn’t mean we can’t be creative about the way we celebrate Eid!

Here are some ideas for a quarantined Eid:

1. Start your Eid day with congregational Eid morning prayers and Takbeer with the family.

2. Decorate your house with balloons and banners.

3. Dress up in your best clothes.

4. Prepare the best meals for Eid feast.

5. Make sure you have a special zoom Eid background while in touch with your relatives and beloved ones.

6. Open Eid presents with family over zoom.

7. Watch a Eid show with the family.

8. And don't forget to make Duaa and Sadaqah!
