Google calendar allows people to create and edit events like parties, important meetings, school exams, etc. The location of the events can be added and other users like friends can be added to those events. People can enable or disable the visibility of special calendars like birthdays where the app retrieves dates of the user’s birth from google contacts and then displays birthday cards on a yearly basis, and holidays, a country specific calendar that displays special occasions like maybe the country’s national day, etc. Google has added something called “machine learning” which includes something else called “Events from Gmail” that allows the user’s gmail messages to be automatically added on the calendar; there is also something called a “Reminder” which a user can to-do activities that will automatically updated with some new information; “Smart suggestions” in which the app recommends titles, contacts, and locations that matches the topic when creating a new event; there is also a “goal” where users can enter information on a goal in which the app schedules the activity at optimal times automatically.
