Grant Application Information:

Proposals are accepted in the following categories:

· Grants to GEHRHSD teachers for educational activities either within or across Absegami, Cedar Creek and Oakcrest High Schools

· Grants for GEHRHSD student initiated educational projects, developed in consultation with and supervised by a faculty advisor

Requirements:

·         All entries must be typed and conform to the format provided. 

·         Please submit completed applications to the Principals by Friday, February 7, 2025     

·         No applications will be accepted after the due date.

·         Projects must be implemented during the 2025/2026 school year.

·        The applicant may be required to submit a report and make a presentation to the  Education Foundation during the grant period.

Criteria for grant applications:

In evaluating each mini-grant application, the Education Foundation will consider whether a program meets the following criteria:

• Is innovative and creative

• Enhances and enriches learning

• Offers the participants a unique learning opportunity

• Benefits the most students possible

• Is not currently fundable/funded by other sources

• Has goals which are clearly defined and realistic

• Has specific methods of implementation and evaluation

• Shows potential for long term impact beyond the grant period 

• Leverages the resources and capabilities of other community resources
