The Culinary Arts / CHEF TRAINING Program

Students are eligible to enroll in our Culinary Career Program at Absegami HS! By partnering with Atlantic Cape Community College, students who successfully complete at least three years of the GEHRHSD culinary courses will receive credit upon attending Atlantic Cape’s Culinary Program. In addition to the valuable courses offered, students will have the opportunity to earn the SafeServ Food Protection Manager Certification, and Food Handler Certification — industry-valued credentials that is becoming mandatory in most culinary fields. For students wishing to pursue a culinary career or as a personal hobby, this extensive hands-on program prepares and educates students on the art of cooking!
