Ready to level up your classroom tech? Global GEG is launching Level 1 and Level 2 Certification Study Sessions, and GEG Utah is jumping in!
Google is currently offering certification exams free of charge for the next few months, making this the perfect time to sharpen your skills and get Google certified.

🪻Google and ISTE+ASCD Launch Landmark AI Trainings
Google has partnered with ISTE+ASCD to offer free, comprehensive AI training to all 6 million educators in the U.S. This initiative provides flexible, "bite-sized" modules on using Gemini and NotebookLM to personalize lessons, adapt materials for diverse learners, and reclaim instructional time. Educators who participate will earn micro-credentials to certify their AI literacy.

GEG Utah hosted two sessions at last week's UCET Conference. In case you missed it, here's a quick recap:
In Our Google Era- 50 Tools Shaping the Future of Learning: Explore 50 Google tools categorized into six future-ready categories—from AI to Accessibility. Transform your teaching with a concrete plan for future-ready instruction.
GEG Utah 2026 Demo Slam: We ran this "Demo Slam" using pre-recorded videos to keep things moving fast. Participants watched the clips and voted on the best use of Google's newest tools. Congratulations to Eliza Lyons from Ogden School District, who won for a second year in a row with her video "Nano Banana- A Gemini Glamour Shot Glow Up". Thank you to all of the participants and we hope to see you next year!
