GEGs (Google Educator Groups) are independently run communities of educators who inspire and empower each other to meet the needs of students through technology both in the classroom and beyond. GEGs provide a way for educators who are passionate about education and technology to meet like minded people to share, learn, and collaborate together.
GEGs are self-led by educators and provide a space for us to:
Share ideas and best practices for using Google tools in the classroom.
Collaborate on projects.
Support each other in integrating technology into their teaching.
GEGs can be local, regional, or even global, and they meet both in person and online. They are a great way for educators to connect with like-minded colleagues and learn from each other.

Do you say GEG (to rhyme with egg) or pronounce each letter? There is no consensus on this; some people choose to read GEG as a word and some people prefer to read it as an acronym, so choose whatever you feel most comfortable with. 😀
