I am a high school student interested in science and health care, with particular attention to dentistry. I am also currently dual-enrolled at Washtenaw Community College. This Career Exploration project is inspired by my wonder about how the new methods or technology in dental practice can further provide better access to oral health care. Also, It will give me a chance to explore creative ways in which dental care can be made accessible. Volunteering at places such as Hope Clinic and Food Gatherers has shown me how underserved communities face many challenges, and that motivated me to be a part of the solution. Being the youngest in my family, I have always been fascinated by how small things make big differences, and I wish to take that approach into my future career.
