What is physical therapy? Physical therapy is a health care profession focused on helping individuals maintain, restore, and improve movement and function. It uses various techniques, including exercises, training, and special movements, to address pain, injury, and other conditions that limit mobility. Physical therapists work with patients to develop personalized treatment plans to enhance health, well-being, and quality of life.
Why did I choose physical therapy? the reason I preferred to choose this topic is because I love to help people especially the ones that are in desperate need the people that need help are people who get injured or need surgery and instead of getting surgery before they go a physical therapist they go before and after to physical therapist they provide various of exercises for the patients to see where the durability is at and where they need work on depending on where they are injured there are many of areas to work for physical therapy personally me I have my mom who had really bad arthritis in her leg which caused her to walk hardly and she had to take shots for it andthen did a surgery for it in her leg and then did physical therapy 6-8 weeks in person sometimes she would have a care lady come home and do a individual one on one checkup where she had her do stretches walk up and down the stairs
