mechanical engineer
1. What is mechanical engineering?
Mechanical engineering is the study of how things move and work. Its around designing, building, and improving machines, engines, and tools.
2. Why did you choose to become a mechanical engineer?
I love solving problems and understanding how machines work.
3. What are some common tools used in mechanical engineering?
We use computer aid design software for designing wrenches and screwdrivers for building or assembling, and testing machines to check if things work good as they should
4. Can you give an example of a simple mechanical system?
A bicycle, It has gears, chains, and pedals that work together to move you forward.
5. What types of energy are used in mechanical systems?
Mechanical systems use kinetic (motion) potential (stored) and thermal (heat) energy.
6. What’s the most exciting project you’ve worked on?
I once built a small airplane with fans on its wings
7. What are the biggest challenges in mechanical engineering?
Making things strong but lightweight, and solving problems with technology
8. How does mechanical engineering help the world?
It makes life better From cars and airplanes to medical devices and renewable energy mechanical engineering is everywhere.
9. What skills are important for a mechanical engineer?
Problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, and a good understanding of math and physics
10. What advice would you give to someone interested in mechanical engineering?
Stay curious, build things with your hands, and never stop learning.
mechanical engineer
1. What part of mechanical engineering do you find most exciting or fulfilling?
Osama:
I think the most exciting part is turning an idea into something that actually works
2. What’s one piece of advice you’d give someone to succeed in the mechanical engineering field?
Osama:
Stay curious and never stop learning. The tech and tools are always changing.
3. What’s something most people don’t know about being a mechanical engineer?
Osama:
A lot of people think we just sit at a desk and design, but it’s so much more. We spend a lot of time testing designs, making changes and working with other teams to make sure everything runs good
4. How do you decide which materials to use for a new product or design?
Osama:
It really depends on what the product needs. I look at things like durability, weight, cost.
5. Have you ever worked on a project that required a unique or unusual approach?
Osama:
Definitely Once I had to design a part that could handle extreme temperatures.
6. What role does communication play in your work as a mechanical engineer?
Osama:
Communication is super important.
7. Can you share a moment when you learned something unexpected from a project?
Osama:
There was this one time we tested a new design and it ended up being way more efficient than we thought it would be.
8. How do you keep track of changes or updates during a project?
Osama:
We use project management software to keep everything organized. We also have regular team meetings to make sure everyone knows what’s been updated and what still needs to be done.
9. What’s the most difficult decision you’ve had to make as an engineer?
Osama:
One tough decision was choosing between two different design options. Both were good, but one was cheaper to make while the other was more efficient.
10. In your opinion, what’s the future of mechanical engineering?
Osama:
I think it’s all about sustainability and automation moving forward. With the world becoming
