The next unit we're looking at in Science is the states of matter and transfer of energy. Here, I will post activities, videos and other things to explore states of matter, typically starting with liquids. Students can do these at their own pace, and I will ensure there is at least one new activity each week.

Science Journal-ling

As students do the activities, they are encouraged to record what happens in their journals. I will no longer be asking them to write in their journals for language arts on Wednesdays, so they should be encouraged to write the date at the top, and the name of the activity. Then after the experiment, write 3-5 sentences about what happened during the activity/experiment.
