   • Students went back and tried to describe how their character discovered their super powers using this style

     • e.g. instead of saying they have super strength, say something like "they lifted the car up over their head and tossed across the parking lot" - this allows the reader to make their own assumption that hte character has super strength

   • Research a non-mammal's circulatory system and use a venn diagram to help you write a paragraph comparing it to a humans
