Employment News is the flagship journal for job seekers published by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. It was launched in 1976 with a view to provide information on employment opportunities to the unemployed and under employed youth of the country. The journal is published in English(Employment News), Hindi (Rozgar Samachar) and Urdu (Rozgar Samachar).
OJAS (Online Job Application System) Gujarat is the official recruitment portal of the Government of Gujarat. It provides a centralized, 24x7 platform for candidates to apply for, track, and get updates on various state government job vacancies, board, and corporation positions, as well as download call letters and view exam results
The Gujarat Public Service Commission, a state-level body established in 1960 under Article 315(1) of the Indian Constitution. GPSC recruits for various engineering roles across state departments like the Roads & Building Department and the Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply, and Kalpasar Department. These positions are primarily categorized into Gujarat Engineering Service (GES) Class-1 and Class-2.
Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board, Government Of Gujarat.
The Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board is established under section 235 of the Gujarat Panchayat Act, 1993. The Board consists of five members including the Chairman. The duty of the Board is to select candidates for recruitment to Class III posts in the Panchayat Service and to advise the Panchayats in such matters as prescribed by the rules. The Board also conduct Departmental Examination of Panchayat Service Class III and Hindi/Gujarati Languages Examination.

Lifelong Learning
SCOPE (Society for Creation of Opportunity through Proficiency in English), established in 2007 by the Government of Gujarat to build English language proficiency in the youth of Gujarat and thereby create employment opportunities for them, has been the most successful PPP model in the state. It has an established network of 200+ centres through two Zonal Training Partners (ZTPs) for the purpose of providing English language training to the candidates. More than 800 colleges and universities are also SCOPE centres. SCOPE programme is centred on three challenges of education – Access, Equity and Quality. Cambridge English Language Assessment, part of the University of Cambridge, UK,and UK are the Assessment and Certification partners of SCOPE.
The Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG) serves students for lifelong learning by fostering higher education excellence through digital initiatives, research funding (SHODH), and employability enhancement. It promotes holistic development via Saptadhara (seven creative streams) and supports career progression with Finishing Schools and interest subsidies on education loans.
