INSIGNIA LIBRARY PROGRAM

We have a new library program this year. It has been a challenge getting things up and running and everyday there seems to be a new issue but we are getting there.  Most classes in the school have been introduced to the program. What they like the most about the program is the fact you can see the book cover of almost all the books we have in the library. There are several ways to search for material and the best way to figure it out is just to try it. However until our students are all assigned a Microsoft ID they will only be able to browse as the reserve feature isn’t available without the ID.  But there is always a way around things and the students don’t have to wait for library class to request a book.  They can either bring a note to school or they or their parents can email kmackenzie@flbsd.mb.ca and I will find the books for them and deliver to their classroom.  I look forward to everyone getting comfortable with the library program.
