Due to financial constraints, we can currently only offer the Evangelical Protestant Missionary Scholarship. We hope to offer other scholarships in the near future.
Evangelical Protestant Missionary Scholarship
The school was started to support Evangelical Protestant missionary families, and we continue to celebrate this purpose. This scholarship is designed to help make it possible for Evangelical Protestant missionary families to attend GDQ.
Qualifications
The parent/family is serving full time in an Evangelical Protestant ministry or church
The family's primary income is from the church or mission organization
Sending organization/church fills out the application form
Organization/church and family must be in agreement with GDQ’s Statement of Faith
Notes
Up to 50% discount
Scholarship will remain for the duration of the time the children are in their current sector (lower, middle, or high school) as long as the family’s status does not change
Scholarship will be reviewed when a child changes sectors (lower school to middle school and middle school to high school)
Eligibility for and retainment of the scholarship is based on parents
Limited Funding: Evangelical Protestant Missionary Scholarship
The school recognizes that finances are not evenly distributed among countries and that some people have a more difficult time raising their support. The Limited Funding Evangelical Protestant Missionary Scholarship is meant to give additional support to Evangelical Protestant missionaries in this situation.
Qualifications
Parent/family are local or international
Letter from the family explaining their situation and need
Application filled out by sending organization or church validating their income and expenses
Parents’ primary occupation is working in a Evangelical Protestant ministry or church
Church or organization fills out the application form
Parent/family must be in agreement with GDQ’s Statement of Faith

Scholarship will remain for the duration of the time the children are in their current sector (lower, middle, or high school) as long as the family’s status does not change

Church Leadership Scholarship
The Church Leadership Scholarship is designed to help support parents that are leaders of their Evangelical Protestant church. This scholarship furthers the vision of supporting the Evangelical church in Albania.
Qualifications
Parent/ family local or international
One or both parents takes a leadership role with their local Evangelical Protestant church
The local church leadership fills out the application form
Parent/family must be in agreement with GDQ’s Statement of Faith

Scholarship will remain for the duration of the time the children are in their current sector (lower, middle, or high school) as long as the family’s status does not change

GDQ Family Alumni Scholarship
The GDQ Family Alumni Scholarship, as the name implies, is designed for children of previous GDQ students. Having an alumni's child at the school is really special and we want to recognize the uniqueness of this happening. This scholarship can be combined with other scholarships.
Qualifications
Children's parent(s) must have attended GDQ for at least one year in the past
Family supports GDQ’s Christian ethos

Sibling Scholarship
Qualifications
Family has more than one child at GDQ
Family does not qualify for the Evangelical Protestant Missionary Scholarship nor the Church Leadership Scholarship
Family supports GDQ’s Christian ethos

200,000 leke discount for each additional child
Scholarship will remain for the duration the family has multiple children at GDQ at one time
Qiriazi Scholarship
The Qiriazi Scholarship, named after the school's namesake Gjerasim D. Qiriazi, is designed to support students that have extraordinary character and academic performance. This is a merit-based scholarship that takes the child, not the family, into consideration. It is also the only scholarship that is not guaranteed for the duration the child is in that sector of the school. An interview with the student is required as part of the application. This scholarship can be combined with other scholarships.
Qualifications
Children must have attended GDQ for at least one semester and the family be in good standing
Child exhibits high academic achievements (based on school records, references, etc.)
Child exhibits extraordinary character and positive influence on the class (verified by school)
Family supports GDQ’s Christian ethos (Proof of support TBD, should be character based and not religious based)

This is a one-year scholarship
This recognizes a child’s resilience and perseverance
To continue to receive the scholarship the child must maintain at least a B average, not fail any classes, and have positive references from the teachers
This scholarship will not discriminate against people with learning disabilities
Scholarship is impacted by availability of funds
Eligibility is based on child’s performance - the child must not have any academic or disciplinary issues
