The Division of Special Education proudly presents the Special Education Symposium: Golden Foundations - Back to Basics, a professional learning event dedicated to re-centering our work on the core principles that guide effective and equitable special education services. 

This symposium is a return to the roots - a focused opportunity for educators to reconnect with the foundational knowledge, values, and practices that have shaped the field of special education. From understanding the spirit of IDEA to revisiting evidence-based instructional strategies, this event invites partcipants to reflect, refresh, and recommit to the heart of our work: ensuring access, inclusion, and meaningful outcomes for every student with a disability. 

Join us for engaging sessions, collaborative learning, and inspiring discussions designed to build capacity and strenghten our collective foundation - because when we go back to basics, we move forward with purpose. Due to space constraints at this time,  this event's focus is targeted towards classroom teachers.
