Participate in a Teacher-Sponsored Activity
1.) Participate in an activity sponsored by your current teacher
Easiest way to earn service learning hours is to participate in an activity that your current teacher sponsors. Your teacher will provide you all the information needed to earn your hours.
2.) Participate in an activity that an Okkodo High School teacher sponsors
Prior to the activity, seek permission from one of your current teachers to accept your participation for their course. This is important to ensure the activity aligns with a current lesson. From there, your teacher will be responsible for accepting the evidence of your participation and for inputting your service learning hours.

If you are doing something in the community that can be awarded service learning hours, propose it to one of your teachers using the Planning, Action, Reflection, and Celebration (PARC) model. See the form below. Your teacher will assist you in getting the activity approved by Mrs. Flores or Mr. Kho.
