Library Rules and Procedures
Students must follow the behavior expectations while in the library:: respect others, be on time and prepared, be your best at all times, have pride in your school, and make responsible choices.
Students must handle all library materials - equipment and books - with care.
Students should leave the library in the same condition as it was when entered - push in the chair when leaving the table, put all materials away when finished, and throw away any trash.
Food, drinks, gum and candy are not allowed in the library.
Students are to use shelf markers when browsing for books. Do not return unwanted books to the shelves. Place them in the book return area.
Reference books (such as encyclopedias and dictionaries) are to be read in the library. They cannot be checked out or taken from the library.
