Library Use/Procedures for Teachers:

1. Student Visits

   • Teachers may send students to the library during their class time to access resources for class assignments or research.

   • A maximum of 2 students per class may be sent at one time.
     
     

2. Library Capacity

   • If the library is at full capacity or is in use by a class, students will be asked to return and try again later.
     
     

3. Library Pass

   • Teachers must provide a pass for each student sent to the library.

   • Passes should include: Student Name, Class, Date, and Purpose of Visit.
     
     

4. Behavior & Courtesy

   • Students are expected to follow library rules, maintain a quiet environment, and handle materials responsibly.

5. Borrowing Materials

   • Teachers may check out class sets/resources available for use in their classroom. Please see the current listing here. 

   • Teachers are responsible for the proper maintenance of all books. Each book should be clearly labeled and assigned to a specific student to ensure accurate tracking and accountability.
