WestCare Pacific Islands Ma’lak Na ‘Ha’åni “Bright Futures” is a program in partnership with your child’s school, F.B. Leon Guerrero middle school. The program’s mission is to help educate and work with youth to overcome the impacts of trauma and to foster resiliency. Program services include individual/group counseling, skill building groups, school coordination, crisis intervention, and outreach services.
The program is happy to announce that we will be hosting a free virtual workshop called the “Self-Care Series” on October 20th, October 21st, October 27th, and October 28th, where students will have the opportunity to learn and build skills in areas of self-care, helpful thinking, healthy expression of emotions, and stress management during this 4-session workshop. Sessions will be facilitated by Bright Futures staff during the following dates listed.

October 20 October 21 October 27 October 28 4:30 PM – 5:15 PM (45 minutes)
If your child is interested in this great opportunity to learn and build skills, please complete the following information below and the attached Referral Form from WestCare Pacific Islands to register. Once consent is received, the staff from Bright Futures will contact parent/guardian & child to complete self-report questionnaires.
