Department of Botany was established in the year 2007 with a mission to enrich the knowledge of plant science among the students of the region and also create and enhance the interest of the young minds towards higher learning and research. The theoretical component of the curriculum is adequately supplemented by practical coursework in the laboratory as well as in the open field.
