Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment Process

  1. Students must attend an information session with school counselors and representatives from Greenfield Community College

    1. Information sessions are typically held in November and April

  2. After attending the information session, students schedule an appointment with their counselor to discuss if dual enrollment is a good fit and to start the application process

  3. A mandatory large group application session is held that students must attend.

    1. At this session, students finalize and submit their dual enrollment application.

  4. Students will then be scheduled for a time to complete the Accuplacer placement testing.

    1. This testing will happen virtually, and students will be assigned a specific day/time to complete the testing.

  5. After completing the Accuplacer, students will attend a large group advising session with their GCC advisor.

  6. Students will then meet individually with their GCVS counselor to discuss potential dual enrollment courses.

  7. After meeting with their GCVS counselor, students will meet individually with their GCC advisor to finalize course selections and register for courses.

  8. Students will then attend a GCC run dual enrollment orientation.

  9. Finally, students will start classes!
